Angela is part of our Sunshine Coast team.
Sonya comes to AJH with life experience and a passion for assisting adults and youth with challenging mental health needs. She is a wonderful listener and has exceptional skills helping each participant feel at ease, helping each participant she works with achieve the best outcome that aligns with their goals.
Currently part of our Southern region team, Sonya is currently finalising her Counselling studies and looks forward to contributing to the community with her passion.

Ruth is a qualified yoga teacher with a number of years experience with self practice. Ruth is certified in yoga Asana (movement), Pranayama (breath) and Meditation (calming the mind). Her focus is bringing people back to their bodies in a positive way, awareness of shifting energies and mindfulness practices.
She is able to tailor a yoga therapy plan to each individual person, finding where the need is and working with the person to better understand how they are feeling as they progress through the program.
Ruth has background knowledge of the Mental Health services. She has an understanding of people living with disabilities through lived experience. This is where Ruth’s compassion is shown and will be able to relate and better support you.

Nadine has a broad range of experience working with both youth and adults in disability support. Experience and knowledge varying from Mental and Physical disabilities, as well as Mental Health.

Nikita has a background in retail with a Certificate 3 in Hairdressing where she gained skills in working with people of diverse backgrounds, active listening, problem solving and leadership. Nikita felt as though she had more to give to the community and would like to contribute to removing the barriers people living with disability face, she then decided to become a student at the University of the Sunshine Coast studying a double Bachelor degree in Social Work and Criminology and Justice. Nikita has an interest in how the Criminology space can be applied and intersects with the Disability space.
