Luke started his career in Psychology with completing a Masters in Clinical Psychology at University of Queensland, including placements in the Princess Alexandria Hospital district. After working as a case manager and therapist (including dialectical behaviour therapy, individuals and groups), for several years in the Inala area and at Wolston Park, he decided to return to purely psychology and setup his own practice on Bribie Island in 2006. This ran alongside another practice in Maroochydore until 2015 when he decided to reduce his work hours and worked in a different space with Injury Treatment from 2015. Luke moved into the disability space in 2019 as a specialist support coordinator with Mercy Community Services, before heading back into psychology in his current position with AJH in 2021.
Luke has worked with people of all ages and a wide variety of difficulties and brings understanding, compassion and a solution-focused approach to all concerns. He has a lived experience of disability having grown up with a father with a physical disability. Luke is part of our North Coast team.
